I am currently unsure about when my students will be able to borrow books from our school library due to safety limitations. In the meantime I would like to give them a classroom library of their own. I hope to instill a love for reading in my students and the books that I have requested will provide students with opportunities to read for enjoyment. I have included books with diverse characters and historical figures to ensure all students feel represented within our classroom. I have also included some books that can be used as social-emotional learning tools. Finally, a classroom library will provide students with options of books to read and borrow for home use throughout the year. I would greatly appreciate donations to help fund this project for my students!
