Using the Snapchat 3D printer/laser cutter, my students will be able to quickly create a mock-up of their project to review and analyze before building the final prototype. If the students would like to design a tiny house, they can design the model and then print it out on the 3D printer. The cost of new user-friendly technology limits some of what the students are able to do on their projects. Because the students are all working on different projects, the variety of things that this Snapmaker 3D printer/laser cutter would greatly help with student use. Students will want to create smaller mock-ups to review and edit before they actually build their full-scale prototype.
