Research has shown therapy dogs in schools help students by increasing school attendance, gaining self-confidence, decreasing learning anxiety behaviors and has also shown positive changes towards learning and improved motivation while at school! Boz has shown to be a great asset towards our learning communities at Rock Run Elementary, but now, it is our time to show how we can help him! We want to provide Boz with healthy dog food just right for his diet, dog toys to keep him entertained and also provide fun engagements with students, a comfortable dog bed to ensure he gets the rest he needs, and a car set cover for when he needs to be transported to different locations! Providing these essential needs to our therapy dog will show him that we respect him and care for him as much as he does for us. We hope you will stand beside us and support this grant to show your love and care for not only our wonderful students, but our therapy dog, Boz, who has been a ‘paws-itive’ addition to our school!
