Each of these items will support students with learning disabilities. They will aid by providing sensory stimulation that will increase students ability to focus on academic tasks. Sensory tools aid students with learning disabilities in both academic and behavioral areas. It increases their ability to focus, decreases repetitive behavior, and increases processing ability and memory. Overall, students with learning disabilities will greatly benefit from sensory tools not found in the traditional general education classroom settings. My hope is to provide my students with an even playing field by providing them with the necessary tools to focus and grow academically.
