I teach 2 classes of 6th graders and one of the biggest struggle is to help provide enough resources for all of the students. Guided Reading and Guided Writing are a huge part of my curriculum that I teach everyday. With the limited amount of student resources and text materials, the document camera will provide all of my students access to the materials needed to learn new material. The document camera will also help improve the learning in my classroom. In addition, the students who are visual learners will succeed with this resource available for them. I love watching them grow when they learn something new.
