As a United States Government and Politics teacher, this field trip and segway tour gives an amazing opportunity to literally blow the walls right off the classroom! Buildings and places that students have only seen in books and videos loom up in front of them as they race down the crazy streets of Washington DC on a two wheel, educational device! For someone who spends so much time making and delivering lesson plans about the federal government, it stimulates and energizes me to walk where "We the People" are served everyday! The tour guides make it all come alive! And for any real teacher, when the students are engaged and amazed, I'm living the teacher's dream.
