These students are already having to pay multiple fees; instrument rentals, band method books, reeds, band supplies, etc. Having a class set of one of these method books that the students will use every year will help ease the financial burden and let children focus on making music. The Foundations for Superior Performance books are one of the best band books out there for students to learn their fundamental knowledge in music. It is all printed and laid out in an easy to understand way for both middle school and high school students. Doing these exercises will help the students play with more technical skill on their instrument. Then they can play harder and more fun music (popular music is actually pretty hard to do on band instruments!).
