As a first year teacher in the middle grades my goal is to ensure my students are in a classroom where they feel comfortable and know they can be successful. Often times when we think of flexible seating we only think about it being available in the lower graders. Students in the middle grades need just as much if not more flexibility. These students are continuously growing and sometimes just need to find ways to get the "wiggles" out. By providing my students with these resources I hope to help them stay engaged and provide a comfortable learning space. Along with the flexible seating that I would like to add to my classroom there are some basic supplies that we would use in the classroom.
