Our recreational space is innovative and located on the roof of our parking garage. We currently have a small jungle gym, soccer nets, and basketball hoops, however we do not have balls or equipment to use in this space. Our students deserve free play time that encourages them to get their bodies and brains ready to work hard in the classroom! Students would benefit from recess equipment that allows for structured play, while simultaneously fostering creativity and social skills. Each grade level would receive a kit with a variety of age-appropriate equipment including soccer balls, basketballs, jump ropes, frisbees and more. With these resources, all students will be able to participate in games while building positive relationships and having fun!
