This project will provide additional titles for my students to pick up and dive inside of as we continue to develop their growing and, in many cases, resurrected love of reading. Students will use these books to take a break from the rigor of daily classwork to spend time inside the pages of a text they have selected because of their interests and their skill level. Exposing students to the variety of authorial voices in this project list will also encourage students as they develop empathy, self-awareness, and social awareness which will help them to continue to develop strong character as they grow from young adults to adults.

About my class
