My scholars are made up of diverse, strong minded and hard working students. They look forward to coming to school to learn and become a better people despite the challenges that they face in their communities everyday. Unfortunately, these students do not strive in a traditional desk seating arrangement and it can affect their learning. Keeping them active is a must as many of them fidget, squirm, and get antsy if they are sitting in their seat for too long. This leads to loss of focus and other distractions. By providing alternative seating options, my students will be able to stay engaged and focused longer leading to a better learning environment for everyone.
