Rug time should include a nice comfy rug for little ones to sit. Imagine a magic carpet that takes children anywhere in the world, or even out of it, during a great story. Picture little faces enthralled by the words and pictures on a page while listening to an animated voice describe an "old lady who swallowed a fly". Learning the love of reading while sitting on a soft surface can only enhance the experience. Having a small carpet in front of the water fountain can keep our little feet from slipping in a puddle. We need some help getting two carpets.
