In a digital learning era with more students preferring audio content, it is more important than ever that all students are given an equal opportunity to be as successful as possible! Long gone are pencil and paper tests, almost all of our projects require access to digital resources that involve audio content from researching labs, online assessments, dictating a presentation or creating their own videos/audio content. With a set of headphones for every student, there is no doubt their access to learning resources will greatly improve. Students are fortunate that a majority of the resources have audio components. This becomes a disadvantage to the student however, when they have no reliable headphones to use on a consistent basis. This will give every student a greater advantage of accessing audio resources, thus increasing their chances of higher engagement, comprehension of the material and ability to communicate in their preferred learning style.
