From teaching kindergarteners to teaching 5th grade, it is apparent that children need movement and choice in the classroom. The stools allow for more student choice, and they provide different seating than the traditional student desk and chair. When students are provided with a choice in their learning environment, they become more intrinsically motivated to do their work. Wobble seats, wobble cushions, and balance balls provide necessary movement and core stability for wiggly kids! This helps children lean, twist, fidget, and wobble. Because the seats and cushions are for stability, children are actively engaging their cores while working in the classroom. This helps students expel their energy in positive ways, leading to more engagement, focus, and collaboration.
