My students have not been to many places in their small lives. Most have never been to the zoo or aquarium. They have yet to travel outside of their neighborhood and believe the world is the same as what the see daily. These tablets will allow my students to explore beyond their neighborhoods. They will be able to take virtual trips to museums, art galleries and even listen to an orchestra. These tablets will allow my students the opportunities to visit Japan or explore an underwater reef. They are very inquisitive and have trapped me into presenting other videos about sharks, volcanoes and natural disasters that occur across the country because they want to learn more. My students will be able to continue research outside of the text books given,. They will be able to expand their knowledge and learn how to become better researchers which will lead into becoming better prepared adults that will be able to make up their own minds instead of following the status quo.
