My classroom is equip with a whiteboard and desks, but for second graders, I'd also like to give them a rug for carpet time, markers and crayons for coloring, and so much more to ensure their learning. Specially, teaching science and social studies, students will benefit from coloring maps, and gathering in whole group circles to examine different scientific concepts. The materials in my cart are geared towards creating a clean and inviting classroom environment, in which kids feel safe and empowered to engage with the materials at their disposal. I am to create a space in which students are excited to be in the classroom and enthusiastic about participating in social studies and science lessons. Acquiring materials that promote students engagement is critical, and the items I wish to obtain, such as markers, crayons, and a rug, enable me to expand the number of activities I can develop in order to teach different kinds of learners. I am committed to trying to provide my students with an excellent education! These materials and any support are greatly appreciated in attempting to create an equitable classroom environment.
