I believe that students deserve a learning environment that will allow their minds and bodies to think freely and comfortably. I want my students to feel like their at home when they walk through my classroom doors. All of the materials and seating options that I have selected will help with my goal. The different pillows, bean bags, and stools will give students the opportunity to have choice in their learning environment. Students deserve the best I can offer them, and flexible seating options will help show the students that I care and that they matter. I want nothing more than for all of my students to work together to achieve the most. The stools will be used for small group lessons or cooperative learning, and the bean bags and pillows will allow for students to choose they working environment inside or outside of the classroom. Flexible seating is fantastic, and I believe in the power of student choice in the classroom. I know that these options will allow the students to take ownership in their learning.
