We are hoping for a gift of yoga socks. Last year, a class set of yoga mats were donated to my class. We had a wonderful time learning new yoga positions and focused meditation. However, they slipped around too much because they did not have the proper "sticky" socks. Kids have lives that are full of stress and anxiety. Yoga and meditation can alleviate that, and help them manage their brains. We reserve a time in our library, so that it is indoors and quiet. Last year I noticed a positive difference in my 3rd graders' behavior. Please help us stay focused and calm.
