The materials and supplies that I have selected to request for my classroom will significantly make a difference in my students learning. As a first year teacher I currently do not have the resources to give my students the educational experience that they deserve. These tools will allow my students to have a classroom environment that is conducive to learning. With flexible seating and everyday school supplies, my students will have the proper tools for success. The students in my classroom learn based on their motivation towards a subject. Unlike the students in regular education classes who feel rewarded after doing a good job by getting a sticker or earning extra recess; my students need immediate reinforcers in order to maintain their focus on the task at hand. With the game boards, fidgets, and legos that I have selected for this project, I will be able to give my students the immediate positive reinforcers that they deserve. It will help build their motivation within the classroom. In order to make their learning experience more enjoyable. I have also selected linking cubes, BINGO boards, as well as match up cards so that they can have a more hands on approach to learning during their independent work stations. We will forever be grateful for this project. I am confident that my students will make great strides both inside and outside of the classroom.
