Having an interactive classroom for small groups will give me the ability to work with students in a more 1:1 setting. Students are more likely to show more understanding when working in a setting where they are more comfortable. Sometime, students are not as eager to answer questions in front of peers. However, in a small group setting students are able to build more confidence. By using the LCD and dry erase boards, students are able to show their work and answer Math questions. The boards are personal and helps them see exactly what they are doing correct and wrong. The boards also encourage independent work for each student. By laminating my paper resources, the students are able to use them repeatedly without normal wear and tear. Overall, I feel that the materials for this project will help me with small group and interactive classroom assignments. This will build morale and confidence, which helps students improve academically.
