These STEM items will be useful for independent work, to keep students engaged, and to promote creativity, collaboration and problem solving skills. Having 5 different STEM kits will allow students to follow the scientific inquiry throughout the year in a hands on environment. The different content that can be covered by using these kits cover so many of our standards. STEM jobs are growing at 17%, while other occupations are growing at 9.8%. STEM education creates critical thinkers, increases science literacy, and enables the next generation of innovators. Our Leverett students can't wait to dive into their STEM projects this year.
