Student do not always have a clean and safe environment at home, I want them to know that my classroom is always a place they can come to and feel safe and valued. I try to show them that math is not just manipulating numbers, it strengthens their organizational skills and presentation skills. I want to present my classroom as an organized place for them to learn, and show them how my mathematical skills and the learning environment are connected. I want them the be able to take the non-mathematical skills they learn from this project and apply them in the future in their every day life situations. Cleanliness makes a great first impression in many situations in life.

About my class
