Besides of what a regular classroom needs, Dual language or Bilingual classrooms are required by the state to have all the locations of the classroom labeled in both languages (English in blue, and Spanish in red) ex. "door" / "puerta", "desk/ escritorio", "board"/ "pizarron". Also, language of the day signs, Interactive word wall in English and Interactive word wall in Spanish labels, templates for Students Generated Alphabet in English and Students Generated Alphabet in Spanish, and additional resources. The PDF that contains all of those labels are 147 page that need to be printed in color. The printer I am requesting for my students is to print and create those labels, and we would need your help to turn their classroom into a BIlingual environment for them. By donating to this project you will not only help to create this Bilingual environment in my classroom, but also you will help my students to improve their cognitive skills and increase their academic achievement providing them all the visual cues needed for Bilingual instruction. Besides, the printer will be also used to print all the Bilingual handouts and interactive activities needed for the Bilingual centers, which will support their learning as an Independent or Collaborative practice.
