At the Kinder level, it is extremely important that their learning comes from hands-on experience and interaction with different classroom materials. My sweet kindergarteners will be working with different toys throughout the day, as well as cuddling up with cozy reading buddies to give them the best reading and educational experience possible. It is necessary that my students get a quality reading space, durable learning materials, and an organized, efficient classroom space. By providing my students with a cozy reading corner (pillows, mats, etc.), they are getting a flexible seating opportunity that gets them moving to different spots in the classroom and a more comfortable, engaging learning space. This is important as they begin their literacy learning and begin spending a full day in the classroom. Additionally, the students are can work with various learning materials and toys that will give them a foundation for future learning. As a first-year teacher, I would love to give my Kinders a learning environment and experience they will never forget!
