We are living in a crisis. My students need to continue their education from home. My students come from immigrant families and have parents that are working on the front lines.My students are all reading below grade level, and we are lucky enough to have software that will help me communicate with them and provide them with excellent education.We are reading and writing every day and all of the content areas. However all of my students need help because they need computers to work with. The government is supposed to give out computers or ipads to all students in New York City, however some of the machines don't work, some of the machines do not have the proper programming or some of the students have not received anything. If we complete this project, I will be able to give my students actual computers that work excellent with Google education tools to their house that they can keep throughout the summer and on to next year when we pick up our school and our learning in school. These machines will be an invaluable gift that will transform my students' experience during this crisis. I would be so proud, and my students' lives would be forever changed by your donation.
