Reading is a huge part of the curriculum. The students will be expected to build upon the knowledge they gained the year prior. Although some may not have retained over the summer all that they will need to be on par with the current lesson, I will push them academically to refocus and relearn. These classroom tools that I've requested will serve to aid in their learning growth. The bookshelf will carry worlds of exploration. The stool will serve as a way for me to educate them from wherever in the room, whether standing for a lecture or sitting near them for a closer learning experience. I'm excited for what is in store for their future!
