The materials I have chosen for my project all play a very specific and important role in my classroom. The rug, bookshelves, and beanbag chairs will all be part of my classroom library/reading center. Reading is a vital part of our lives. As a reading teacher, I try to everything possible to encourage reading. I feel that having a nice, cozy place for them to go and read will inspire them to pick up a book. I run a lot of student reports and would benefit greatly by having a personal printer in my classroom. I sometimes have to do this at home due to the lack of a printer.
