With our world growing and evolving around technology, the calculators eliminate tedious computations and algebraic manipulations that discourage many of my students. Calculators do not only allow students to solve simple math problems, but they also help us appreciate the power and value of mathematics in the world today. By donating to this project, you will not only help improve their academic achievements, but ultimately help increase their confidence levels in mathematics as well. Even though I still expect the students to know how to complete basic calculator computations by hand, they will be able to solve the problems without worrying about the minor mistakes that could potentially be made. These TI-30XIIS Calculators will allow my students to take charge and enhance their learning both in mathematics and in life. "Mathematics may not teach us how to add love or subtract hate, but it gives us every reason to hope that every problem has a solution."
