This year at my middle school, we have an unusually large number of beginning band students (60 in all), but our average band class is between 20 and 30 students. Because my school is located in an economically depressed area, my administration has always worked to provide our students with everything they need to be successful, including instruments. Unfortunately, with a high number of beginning band students, and many of our families unable to rent or purchase an instrument, I am seeking some additional assistance from music-loving donors to help fund this project. I will provide my students with method books, accessories and repairs for their instruments.
