My students will benefit from a document reader because they need a lot of modeling when I am teaching a lesson. Sometimes I don't have enough dry erase board to model what we are learning. Since most of my students are not native English speakers, they require lots of visuals in order to understand a lesson. For example, when doing a science worksheet together, I'll be able to point out difficult words in a passage without having to go one by one to help them look for the words. In Math, I'll be able to show them step by step when solving a problem.
