The focus on my project is to provide materials and safe places for my students. I am opening up a new classroom in our school district this year and I don't have any materials in my classroom to help my students. Each of my students are learning age-appropriate social and emotional skills. In order for me to help them learn these skills I need materials in my classroom. I would like a safe place where students can go to calm down. with a beanbag chair and photo library. I would also like sensory items that can be used in the classroom to provide that extra support and create a fun atmosphere where the students want to be.
