My students range from the ages of 3-5. They are predominantly Hispanic, and all come from low income families. There are many challenges they face, but school is a place of nurture and learning. They are enthusiastic when it comes to school, and love to learn. For many of them, school is the only place where they have the opportunity to have stories read to them, have toys to play with, warm meals to eat, and hugs to give and receive.

About my class
