By fulfilling my project goals, the Literature circle titles will make a difference for students as they offer opportunities for them to partake in critical thinking and reflection as they read, discuss, and respond to books. Students reshape and add onto their understanding as they construct meaning with other readers. My students crave new experiences and books are a window to the world. Watching their faces light up with anticipation during our reading time is contagious and this project will help satiate their appetite. Please help me broaden my students’ perception of the world through this literary collaborative adventure; books open doors that otherwise would remain closed.
