My students are Hurricane Harvey affected students. Most of their homes and our outside campus flooded again last year due to heavy rain. We have just basic chairs and desks that are in fair to poor conditions. These flexible seating options will allow students to work around the room, be an outlet for their energy while still being engaged in their learning. I plan to use these seats in the reading corner, during learning stations, and even during whole group instruction for those students who have attention deficit or simply need a way to let out their wiggles without stopping their learning or disrupting their classmates.
