Each child in my classroom has unique preferences based on what he/she is mostly exposed to as well as personal ambitions in life. I want to instill in my students the love of reading and learning so that they can be prepared for life. Thus, the more books provided to my students the more opportunity are open to them and the more motivated they are to explore the library. Volumes talk! Our school is Title I, economically disadvantaged campus but I believe in my students that they can be SOMEBODY someday if they apply themselves. Therefore, I want to furnish them with lots of books and other classroom necessities to boost their potential for success. In my classroom, we don't need decorations, furniture or other accessories as long as we have books (fiction, nonfiction, comics, etc) we are happy.
