This project will allow students to have access to musical instruments and give them a new, fun experience in the music classroom. These instruments will be used everyday in music class for grade K-6 and will also be used in school and community performances. These instruments are a long term investment and will benefit students for many years to come, even decades if handled with proper care. My students work very hard everyday and love making music, we just need some help getting these instruments in the door. It is important that each student is involved in the music creating process and for some activities this is only possible with a class set of instruments. By donating to this project you are giving a child the opportunity to channel his or her creativity through music making. You are also giving them an opportunity to have a fun and joyful experience in school.
