How will the world's next Wes Anderson benefit from all of these tablets you ask? By creating their very own stop motion animation movies. The students at O. Elementary will write scripts, create characters, design sets, film, edit, create sound effects for and act in their films. By creating these films students will strengthen their writing, reading, and math skills as well as their social skills by collaborating with one another. Many of my students struggle in all of those areas. These struggles mean that they will start their adult lives at a deficit. This deficit affects our society as a whole.
