The students will engage in this novel, have small group and whole class discussions. Students will use comprehension skills to better understand the novel, responding to the text with deeper level questioning. The more texts I can put into the hands of my students, the more they will engage in reading and discussions, and the more likely they will become passionate readers. I want to develop strong readers who are interested and curious to learn more through books. With this novel, students will be actively engaged in the text and will be doing a variety of activities that will demonstrate their learning. Please help me put these novels in my students’ hands. They will be forever grateful for your generosity!
