These books will help with guided and shared reading, as well as enrich each student’s daily independent reading experience. Books open up an entire world for a child, and a library with fresh, new material will excite and intrigue my third graders! I feel third grade is a pivotal time in a child’s life, when a love of reading can be captured and cultivated. This is what inspires me to teach, and help my students with critical reading skills such as comprehension; something that will aide them in all aspects of academics - and life!
