Children today are a challenge to engage in skill practice! The light table and accompanying manipulative items are a sure way to capture their creativity and imagination while also providing practice with skills. We have seen success already in the classes that have the light tables. The students love to learn while they play. Practicing math and language arts while playing will keep students who struggle with attention deficits engaged for longer spans of time. We have been longing for a paper cutting board for some time. Having a paper cutting board will shorten the time it takes to prepare crafting projects, book making and so much more.
