By adding a rug to my room, my kids will have a designated area in my room where learning and instruction can happen in a separate place from the creative process area. My goal is to have two areas in my room where my students can strive. The rug will serve as the instructional area where art lessons and learning take place, whereas my tables will serve as a place of creativity. This will help promote active learning in the designated areas, and help with the flow of my classroom. Which in return will provide structure for my kids in the classroom.
