These materials will allow me to continue to be more hands on with my Kindergartners. It will give them a chance to use their creativity regardless of the subject area. Building with big blocks will be so much fun! They will be able to build towers as big as themselves... the possibilities are limitless as well as the opportunity to learn from those moments! These are materials that we do not currently have in our classroom that my students would LOVE to have the chance to use this year. My students love drawing and creating. These items will give them more opportunities to express themselves and their learning. Rather than using the same crayons and markers each day, they will now have the option to use watercolors, dot markers, stamps or even paint! When they use play dough, they won't be limited to what they can create because this will give them those tools they need to mold and shape the play dough however they want! During our small group stations, we usually utilize a station for technology. Being able to have 8 more sets of headphones would be amazing! We love our small group work, but it can get quite loud, especially with IPad noise, center work, games, and teacher/student table happening all at the same time. These extra headphones will help us control that a little bit better!
