Preschool is all about investigation and discovery. The more hands-on experiences I can have in my classroom the better. I feel like sometimes science is a subject that gets overlooked easily and I hope that bringing some of these items into the classroom will spark more interest in the center and pose critical thinking questions which lead to discovery and opportunity. With the science kits, card sets, and games asked for in this project I hope to give the kiddos excitement, joy and the desire to explore. Using all five senses, these items will round out my science center and give the children in my classroom opportunities to dive deeper into the world around them.
