My classroom is full of wiggly worms. It is very difficult to keep them on task especially when the subject does not excite them. My goal is to have an interactive classroom where most activities are hands on. The math materials (money, blocks, 10 squares) will allow my scholars to dive in to math and interact with physical objects. The rug and bean bag chairs will allow my scholars to sit comfortably while they are reading. Although this will not suffice for all scholars it is a step in the right direction. The fidget toys and velcro will give them something to focus on while directions are being given.
