The use of whiteboards is a must in daily activities because they can be used across my other subjects so students can display their thinking. It allows me to see exactly what they are doing and it helps them see what they are doing as well before putting it on paper. My dual language students are highly energetic and love to incorporate movement in their learning. The use flexible seating will focus student attention to the lessons by letting them be comfortable or burn some quick jumping energy if needed. Studies show that students attention increases if there is physical activity involved.
