I have the opportunity to help my students develop a love of reading. In second grade, the children are becoming more confident with their reading skills and are eager to keep going. I love reading and one of the great joys in my life is curling up in a cozy spot in my home with a great book. My students may not have that opportunity in their own homes, so I strive to provide that for them. With the bean bag chairs, comfy seats, and new selection of quality hard cover books, my students can, hopefully, find a passion for reading. This will set them up for success as they move forward in their education.
