Some of our best learning takes place on the classroom rug! Not only does the classroom rug serve as a special space for whole group instruction, but it also provides students with a cozy, safe spot to engage with their peers throughout the day. This space is where the children spend a large portion of the school day and it's often where they feel most comfortable! Due to the busy (and sometimes messy) nature of a classroom, the rug that we currently have has seen better days...and years! A new classroom rug would offer my students a new and improved place to learn, share, and grow as a community and as individuals!
