The sun rises, the bell rings and the students pour into the classroom ready to learn, ready to play. As students finish their breakfasts and clean up their space, children trickle over to the morning activity center and eagerly choose a play-based activity. Materials from this project will be used to create an entire year's worth of morning activity bins. Supplying students with an engaging way to start the morning, helps to set a positive tone for the whole day! Using play, these bins will present opportunities for students to develop fine motor skills, number sense, letter recognition, and a multitude of other skills. Because variety is the spice of life, students will be able to choose different activities daily with the whole lot being refreshed monthly.
