The majority of the materials in our classroom are very worn and broken. Because of this, many students are not able to participate fully inside of the classroom. Music is one of the best forms of expression, but without the materials, these students are not able to have their full voice. The boomwhackers will get them involved at a young age with learning how to read music in a fun and interactive way. The ukuleles will keep them engaged as they grow older. They will learn the discipline of practice and satisfaction they will receive when their hard work finally pays off. These students have gone through so much, and giving them a place where they can truly have fun in their learning is what they deserve.

About my class
