This is a great opportunity for me to give my students new calculators to use. MY area has three-quarters of the students living in low-income households, so this is a great way to not only help them but to show the community that we can come together and help our students. The ones we have in the classroom now are getting outdated, and a facelift in the calculator department would be a great move in the right direction. I can not think of a better way to show my students that I care about their success than trying to get them new calculators for the classroom. They work really hard for me, and they deserve something new. The students in this area would really appreciate any help.
